A little room on the internet

There was a time when the internet felt like a house with a thousand small rooms, each one decorated by whoever lived there. Personal blogs with broken CSS. Forums with inside jokes only a dozen people understood. Guestbooks. Webrings. It was slower, messier, and undeniably more human than what we have now.

A welcoming open doorway, plants, and a cat.

Somewhere along the way, those rooms got knocked down and replaced with one enormous mall — optimized for attention, not belonging. Every feed looks the same because it's built to keep you scrolling, not to make you feel at home. We think that trade was a bad one.

Innernet is our attempt at building a small room again — somewhere the point isn't to maximize your time on screen, but to make the time you do spend feel worth it. No infinite scroll, no engagement bait, just a quieter corner of the internet that feels like someone actually lives there. Come sit for a while.
